Kylie Cleary (Principal)
Tinies, Sub Junior and Senior Coach
Kylie was an original founding member of Sovereign Calisthenic College and danced for 21 years. She is currently the Tinies, Sub Junior, Senior and Masters Coach and also the Principal of the College. She also coaches Solos and prepares students for their Pupil Skills exams. She has been a qualified Coach since 1986.
In 1996, Kylie was the Victorian State Team Assistant Coach in the Junior Division. Kylie was named Calisthenics Victoria’s Coach of the Year (Victoria) in 2007, which was a huge honour. The same year, she was nominated for the Country Coach Award and also the Excellence at Competitions Award.
Outside of Calisthenics, Kylie is a Manager in the Telecommunications Industry, but her passion is teaching others in this wonderfully unique sport!
Emma was a Student of Sovereign Calisthenic College for 22 years. During this time, Emma also represented Victoria as a member of the Victorian State Team. Emma has also participated in Graceful Solos, studied ballet, jazz and tap.
Emma is a highly successful Intermediate Coach, who also coaches various Solos and Pupil Skills.
Natasha van Langevelde
Natasha was a Student of Sovereign Calisthenic College for 15 years, after moving from the Ballarat Calisthenic College where she also spent 13 years. Natasha also represented Victoria at the Nationals on a number of occasions.
She has also been a Graceful Solo participant, studied jazz and was also part of the Gymnaestrada Calisthenic team who travelled to Sweden.
Natasha works as part of the senior coaching team and also runs her own successful Hairdressing business.
Allana has been dancing with Sovereign Calisthenic College for 20 years. She has been assistant for the Tinies, Subs and Juniors over the years, and is now excited to be a qualified Level 1 Coach, the next chapter in her Calisthenic life.
Allana has achieved many goals during her time with Sovereign. She was awarded the Robyn Pascoe medal in 2002 for the most outstanding student and was later awarded the Renee Knight medal in 2008 for her coaching development.
Allana completed her secondary schooling at Loreto College in 2010 and is a registered nurse.
Sub Junior and Junior Coach
Lucy has been a part of the Sovereign team for 20 years. She has competed in all team age groups and as a Solo competitor. Lucy was also a member of the Victorian State Team, competing at National Level.
Lucy was awarded the Renee Knight Coaching Medal in 2012 for her excellence in coaching and is a Qualified Level 1 Coach.
Lucy is a graduate from Loreto College, and is currently studying to a Bachelor of Education at the Australian Catholic University.
In 2017 Lucy also forms part of the Victorian State Team Junior Coaching Staff.
L.C.B.A. – C.I.C.B. BA Dance Certificate in Performance.
Accredited and experienced performer and ballet teacher who will take ballet classes for all students.
